Whiteface Lodge

We are repeat guests of The Whiteface Lodge and are looking forward to our return there next week! I had an issue with my reservation and the front desk manager, Fara, resolved it over the phone quickly and was super friendly. At our past visits, every staff person we've encountered has been wonderful. The food at the restaurants is always tasty and the surroundings are so cozy and beautiful. My kids love coming for the movie theater, the game room, the ice skating rink, the indoor/outdoor pool and more. This place is truly unique. We can't wait to be back!

I give them 10 stars!! We originally went to Lake Placid Lodge and they were pretty stuffy and rude so we decided to come here. Best choice ever! The rooms were amazing, the ambiance of the entire lodge was top notch. The staff were all super friendly from the valet to the bar staff to the front desk to the guy popping popcorn. The game room and bowling room were awesome and the heated pool and hot tub were an extra bonus on a chilly evening breaking its first snow. Highly recommend!

We stayed for my daughter and my birthday this past weekend... Go for the pool, the hot tubs, the activities and amenities are amazing. The front desk is full of sincere people who want you to have a beautiful stay. The truffle fries at Peak 47 are the best I've ever had (and I've tried many up and down the East Coast!) When it's quiet, midweek, it's so relaxing and peaceful... But even when the place is full, you're not on top of each other... It's still lovely 😊

My family and I went to visit the White Face Lodge this past week for 4 days and 3 nights. During our stay we ate at both restaurants on site and I had two massages at the Spa. The star of our visit was Tiffany a masseuse at the spa. She was absolutely amazing. I had to book a second visit. This was the best massage I have ever had. If you go to the spa booking with Tiffany is a must. We enjoyed our room. It was clean and very lodge like. We loved the jet tub. My son enjoyed the bowling alley and the movie theater. Where things fell short was the limited options at the restaurant with the exception of the breakfast buffet. The buffet was great. There are limited choices for vegans for lunch and dinner. Consider utilizing the fridge in the room and bringing some of your own options. The catch and release fishing really needs to be maintained better. There was only one pole and no bait. My guess is there may have been fish in there although we didn’t see any. The game room is mainly for games family members can play together. There is a pool table, ping pong table, bowling alley and a few other games. Overall we enjoyed our visit but expected a little more in some areas.

We LOVED our stay! We have 4 boys ages 3-12 and they all had a great time! From the heated pool to the bowling alley, game room, outdoor courts, fishing, and hike around the grounds! Breakfast was very nice. The spa was top notch. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Close to many attractions. We are already planning a return trip!!

Conditions are almost always garbage. Prices have soared past years. I’ve skied there in the past for $50-$60 per day…. Now everything is a hassle from buying a reloadable card to parking , lift lines , CLOSED GONDOLA. Yes, it’s closed more often than not- and that was understandable when it was a 50 year old relic always being down. But now it’s a brand new gondola and it’s still always down… and they don’t tell you on the WEBSITE pr buying a lift ticket. Don’t get me started on the local rooms- most are run down and cost a fortune. I just done see the allure. For the same price you can fly and stay and ski out west. At $60 a day for a lift ticket the lack of snow and sheets of ice down lights and gondola horrible food and bad customer service were tolerable at almost $200 per day there are far better options up north- go to Vermont.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel! We stayed in the fall and the surrounding mountains were beautiful! We also came with a baby and the suite style room we had was just perfect to accommodate her. We loved all the on site amenities such as the tennis courts, canoe club, and year round pool. I also loved how it was not right in town so it feels more secluded and peaceful.

In general I like my experience here in the lodge. The staff are friendly and helpful. The place is nice and quiet. The room is unique with the wood decorations and gorgeous view 😍 They have activities all the time during the day, also there is a shuttle bus take you to their private beach. The room service need to improve, they should vacuum , wipe and change the bedsheet etc. Not only change the towels and changing the trash bags. For the breakfast , I think if they add some fresh vegetables that would be awesome, also they provide hot water and coffee all the day near the restaurant. My experience overall is good , feels like home 🫶
